Lisa Bates

Lisa joined the Foundation staff in November 2005 as Administrative Assistant.  She is responsible for maintaining and managing the donor database, including receipt, acknowledgement and processing of gift and donor information.  She coordinates all aspects of Foundation meetings and building related issues. Lisa also assists with financial reporting and prepares statements for donors and representatives of funds.  She also serves as the key resource person for supporting ancillary organizations, including the Starr-Gennett Foundation, Third Grade Reading Academy and the Richmond Rose Garden.

Prior to her service with the Foundation, Lisa worked for the Economic Development Corporation of Wayne County.  In her nine years at the EDC, she held several positions with the organization from administrative assistant to executive assistant. 

She has an Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting from Ivy Tech Community College.  Recently, Lisa graduated from the Institute for Create Leadership program.

Lisa has two adorable sons, Zach and Ben, and 4 teenage step-children.  She and her husband, Mark, live in Dublin.
