Altrusa Club of Richmond (2 awards in equal amounts) $3,200

To be awarded to graduating females of a Wayne County high school with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 who will attend a Wayne County college and have demonstrated a history of service to school and community.

Earl Baker Memorial $500

To be awarded to a student from a Wayne County High School who is academically able, demonstrates financial need and plans to attend Purdue University.

Myyon Barnes Memorial $500

To be awarded to a graduating senior from a Wayne County, Indiana, high school who plans to major in journalism and who have demonstrated an interest in the field through extracurricular activities and/or work experience.

Lucille Campbell $950

To be awarded to a student from a Wayne County High School enrolling in an accredited post-secondary institution and demonstrates financial need.

W. Barry Culy 4-H Memorial $1,200

To be awarded to a student from a Wayne County High School enrolling in an accredited post-secondary institution who has participated in 4-H for at least four years preference will be given to those in beef livestock; is a positive representative of his/her community and school; demonstrates service to their community and leadership in extra-curricular activities.  Financial need may be considered.

Easter Seals $0

To be awarded to a graduating senior from a Wayne or Union County High School who intend to continue their formal education in order to enter a career field in service to people with disabilities.

Eileen M. Hunt Nursing and Allied Health $50,000

To provide scholarships for students to attend Indiana University East or Ivy Tech Community College in Richmond, Indiana, for the purpose of majoring in programs relating to nursing or allied health.

Galen Miller $1,200

To be awarded to a student from a Wayne County High School who has volunteered with organizations serving the developmentally disabled.

Marian Niswander Business  $250

To be awarded to a student from a Wayne County High School who will attend a liberal arts college or university in Indiana, pursuing a general business major.

Dorotha Packard Memorial $12,000

To be awarded to a student from a Wayne County High School enrolling in an accredited post-secondary institution.

Perfect Circle Credit Union $250

To be awarded to a student from a Wayne County High School enrolling in an accredited post-secondary institution.

Reid Hospital Dependent Scholarship - (10 awards in equal amounts) $10,000

Applicant must be a dependent child of a current Reid Hospital employee and pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited university or college.  Applicant must be full time course of study in health care related field typically found in a hospital including but not limited to nursing, radiology, respiratory, laboratory, pharmacy, rehabilitative services or medical records.

Harold W. Ryan Memorial - (4 yr award; total award amt listed) $6,000

To be awarded to a student from a Wayne County High School pursing a vocation in public safety, especially in the field of law enforcement, firefighting, or emergency medical training.

Karl and Marjorie Sharp $2,500

For graduating seniors of Richmond High School, Centerville High School, or Hagerstown High School  who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a well-rounded character; significant extracurricular involvement and/or community leadership; and financial need.  While high academic achievement is not a priority, students should have a minimum 2.5 high school GPA and demonstrate potential for success at the college level.

Richard Wedding and Patricia Wedding Scholarship Endowment Fund - (4 awards in equal amounts) $8,000

To be awarded to a student from Centerville, Northeastern, Lincoln, Hagerstown or Seton High School who plans to study music.
