It may look too good to be true but it is the Foundation’s intent that the grant application procedure be as simple and straight-forward as possible. We are now using an online application process.
To apply for a grant simply follow the steps outlined below:
- Third, download and complete the Project budget (excel / pdf).
We strive to keep the process easy-to-understand but if you have questions, please do not hesitate to call Lisa Bates for assistance.
It is the Foundation's responsibility to report annually to the people of Wayne County, the various grants we have made and what has been accomplished with the grant funds. The grant use report and final project budget are to be completed online six months after a grant is awarded. The grantee is expected to acknowledge the Foundation’s support of this project or program in all media releases, announcements, and written materials. (logo)
2016 Fall Grant Cycle:
The Wayne County Foundation is conducting a Fall mini-grant cycle to help fund capacity-building projects. A total of $34,000 will be available for requests of up to $3,000.
Applications from local not-for-profit organizations that did not receive a grant during the 2016 Spring Grant Cycle will be accepted through the Foundation’s online application until 11:30 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016. The process will begin Friday, July 29 and can be accessed at http://tinyurl.com/WCFGrants.
Assistance in preparing applications is available from the Foundation office located at 33 South 7th Street, Richmond or visiting the Foundation’s Website, www.waynecountyfoundation.org. First-time applicants are encouraged to contact Lisa Bates at the Foundation office prior to submitting an application. Additional information is available by calling the Foundation office at 765-962-1638 or e-mailing email@example.com.
All completed applications are reviewed by a committee consisting of members of the Foundation’s Board of Directors and other community volunteers. Successful applicants can expect grants to be approved and distributed by the end of September.
