2017 Spring Grant Cycle:

Deadlines:

Pre-application Deadline - March 17

Completed Application Deadline - April 7

Grant Board Approval - May 18

It may look too good to be true but it is the Foundation’s intent that the grant application procedure be as simple and straight-forward as possible.  We are now using an online application process.

First time applicants are encouraged to contact the Foundation's program officer, Lisa Bates, prior to applying.

To apply for a grant simply follow the steps outlined below:

  • First, carefully read the Policy and Procedures Statement-updated 2017(pdf file) to assure that you qualify for a grant from the Foundation and are able to supply the appropriate documentation necessary for a successful grant application.

Please contact the Foundation before submitting a request greater than $15,000 (policy).

  • Third, download and complete the Project budget (excel / pdf).

We strive to keep the process easy-to-understand but if you have questions, please do not hesitate to call Lisa Bates for assistance.

It is the Foundation's responsibility to report annually to the people of Wayne County, the various grants we have made and what has been accomplished with the grant funds.  The grant use report and final project budget are to be completed online six months after a grant is awarded.  The grantee is expected to acknowledge the Foundation’s support of this project or program in all media releases, announcements, and written materials. (logo)
