How to Apply for Grants

It may look too good to be true but it is the Foundation’s intent that the grant application procedure be as simple and straight-forward as possible.

To apply for a grant simply follow the steps outlined below:

  • First, carefully read the Policy and Procedures Statement (pdf file) to assure that you qualify for a grant from the Foundation and are able to supply the appropriate documentation necessary for a successful grant application.

If your grant request is larger than $25,000 please contact the Foundation prior to submitting it.

  • Second, download and complete the application cover page. (word).

  • Third, download and complete the Project budget (excel / pdf).

  • Fourth, gather your supporting documents as outlined on the application cover page for inclusion in the grant application.

  • Fifth, submit 6 copies of your grant application packet and mail that to:

    Wayne County Foundation
    33 South 7th Street
    Richmond, Indiana  47374-5423

We strive to keep the process easy-to-understand but if you have questions, please do not hesitate to call Andrea Stuckey for assistance.

It is the Foundation's responsibility to report annually to the people of Wayne County, the various grants we have made and what has been accomplished with the grant funds.  The grant use report and final project budget forms are to be completed six months after a grant is awarded.  The grantee is expected to acknowledge the Foundation’s support of this project or program in all media releases, announcements, and written materials. (logo)
