Introducing our 2013 Lilly Scholars:

Lilly Endowment Community Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic performance, written essays, letters of recommendation and financial need. Leadership and service at school and in the community are also a component of selection. Chosen from a large pool of applicants from throughout Wayne County, the Foundation’s Lilly Scholars receive a four-year full tuition scholarship and book stipend to the pubic or private Indiana college of their choice.

Matthew Stoughton is the son of James and Michelle Stoughton.

While attending Centerville High School, Matthew maintained a 4.0 GPA while participating in swimming, various church activities, and Eastern Indiana Model Legislature throughout his high school career.  He has also held several leadership roles including captain of the swim team and class treasurer along with an extensive volunteering experience.   Matthew plans to major in meteorology at Valparaiso University.

 

 

 

Adam Schroeder is the son of Charles and Terri Schroeder. 

While attending Seton Catholic High School, Adam maintained a 4.0 GPA while participating in baseball, basketball, and various church activities throughout his high school career.  He was captain of the baseball and basketball teams along with volunteering for Catholic Heart Works Camps and vacation bible study.  Adam plans to major in pre-medicine at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis.
